CES provides the knowledge and experience necessary for the prompt
assessment and successful remediation of mold-contaminated structures.
The key to preventing mold is to identify and remedy any past or present
moisture problems. Mold feeds on dead organic material to grow and its
spores and toxins can become airborne when disturbed. Therefore, it is
important that infected materials and/or areas with a high organic
content, such as wood or paper, are properly cleaned or removed.
We inspect contaminated properties to access moisture containing
mold and bacterial growth and then develop site-specific work plans
to perform remediation. We interact with property/home owners,
insurance adjusters, and government regulators to appropriately
follow all guidelines and regulations.
In accordance with our health and safety program, all remediation
is conducted within containment aided by the use of respiratory
protection and negative air pressure.
Mold remediation practices at Custom Environmental Services, Inc. are in
accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency's guidelines and the
New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene Bureau of
Environmental and Occupational Disease Epidemiology's guidelines.
